Founded in 2007, the Matagorda Regional Medical Center Foundation provides a vital source of funding for ongoing capital improvements and new services. The Foundation is committed to raising and receiving funds to strengthen the mission of Matagorda Regional Medical Center. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. We proudly support our county hospital and seek ways to bring and/or keep the services we need, right here at home, now and into the future. We envision a hospital that will be a regional leader in rural healthcare.
Mission:
The mission of the Matagorda Regional Medical Center Foundation is to establish and maintain relationships that generate philanthropic support to enhance the hospital’s ability to fulfill its mission of providing competent and compassionate healthcare services.
Annual Giving Opportunity
“It’s All Right Here” and we want you to be part of our exciting new organization through our annual giving program, as we would like to become your charity of choice!
Ways to Give
Each and every gift is greatly appreciated by the Foundation. There are a number of giving opportunities:
- Cash gifts
- Real estate
- Stocks
Planned Giving
Planned gifts are also a great way to leave a legacy for the future. Here are a few examples:
Gift by will or bequest
Life insurance
Pensions or IRA’s
Annual Fundraising Events
Another great way is by supporting our annual fundraising events. Our long-term goal is to build our Endowment Fund. This allows the Foundation to grow, yet we can support our health care system by using only the interest from the endowment.
THANK YOU for your contribution. Your gift is tax deductible subject to IRS regulations. If you have any questions or need additional information, call (979) 241-6382 or you may email dcox@matagordageneral.org | |
