Matagorda County offers a dedicated medical and nursing staff to care for a full spectrum of needs for our female population. Women's care includes gynecological and obstetrical services dealing with any segment of the female reproductive system.
 Our staff's goal is to make giving birth rewarding and memorable, ensuring that mother and baby receive professional care, while allowing that most important "personal time" to get to know the newest family member.
The Labor rooms are equipped with special fetal monitors to keep track of the mother's and baby's condition during labor. For uncomplicated deliveries, a birthing suite option is available. Having a baby in the District facilities is a family-centered experience.
